1. Apparently FC Köln will have to do without Dejan Ljubicic for a long time. As reported by ‘Sky’, the midfielder tore an internal ligament in yesterday’s Rheinderby. The pay TV broadcaster indicates up to three months as downtime.
Ljubicic has been one of Cologne’s best performers this season. He has appeared in 15 games in all competitions, scoring six goals and scoring another goal. Against Borussia Mönchengladbach (2: 5) he was replaced through injury in the 40th minute.
Update (13:47): 1. FC Köln have now confirmed that Ljubicic will be absent through injury until the end of the year.
