JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The collision of the MV Barokah Jaya fishing boat and the MV Habco Pioneer boat occurred in the Balongan Sea, Indramayu Regency, Saturday (3/4/2021).

Head of SROP / Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) Cirebon Hapiszar explained that the ship’s collision occurred at around 16.45 WIB with the coordinates 05 ° 37.35 ‘S – 108 ° 17.18’ E or 60 Miles of North Cirebon Balongan.

This ship collision accident caused the MV Barokah Jaya to capsize. A total of 15 crew members from 32 crew have been evacuated, while 17 other crew have not been found.

According to Hapiszar, his party has coordinated with Basarnas Cirebon, Basarnas Bandung and Basarnas Pusat to be able to help search for crew members and evacuate crew members who have had accidents.

This incident has also been spread to ships passing through the crash site to be able to provide assistance.
