The Eemshavenweg (N46) between Groningen and Bedum was closed in both directions on Tuesday morning after a serious collision between a car and a company bus near Zuidwolde.
What exactly happened is still unclear. Emergency workers are at the scene of the accident.
The collision created a traffic jam.
