A JetBlue aircraft collided with another plane on the ground, less than a week after another incident on the runway at JFK airport in New York.

Last Friday, a Delta aircraft had to brake on takeoff when an American Airlines flight cut its way. The incident was described as terrifying by the passengers on board, the flight was cancelled.
This morning (Wednesday), the JetBlue flight to Puerto Rico hit a plane that was empty around 7:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
During the incident, the aircraft was pushed by a pushback tractor and was preparing for takeoff.
The Airbus A320 struck another Airbus of the same company which was parked.

The aircraft that was to take off had to return to the boarding gate. There were no injuries in the incident, but the aircraft were taken out of service.
In a statement, a JetBlue spokesperson said the San Juan-bound flight “came into light contact with an unoccupied aircraft parked during the pushback.”
The incident is under investigation by the FAA.
The flight was scheduled to take off at 6:00 a.m. and the passengers finally departed on a new plane at 7:50 a.m.
