Bringing together the different economic players in Grenoble to help vulnerable populations: this is why the Collective Sesame was born last June. And in practice? Companies and their employees provide financial assistance and time to support associations working on housing, health, food and child protection.


“We had laptops that we no longer used, but we didn’t know who to give them to,” says Cyril Menon, director of the Soitec company and vice-president of the collective. Sesame. Finally they went to Emmaüs Connect who has the capacity to bring them up to date and knows how to then redistribute them. Even when we want to show solidarity, it’s not easy, he sighs. A long-standing idea

“I really believe in the virtuous nature of mutual aid between companies and associations. Be more effective for vulnerable populations,” presents Camille Galliard-Minier. Former deputy for the first constituency of Isère until last September, she aspired to something else, to “really find concrete solutions to specific situations. » The trained lawyer noted that these two types of organizations were well anchored in the Grenoble territory, but “without a connecting channel. There was a deficit in efficiency, not because of a lack of will, but rather because of a lack of tools and means of communication. »
