New York, (May 9/23). The Consulate in New York together with the Colombian artist María Paula Suarez presents to the Colombian community on Thursday, May 18 at 6:00 pm, the art exhibition ‘Collecting Words’.
The artist collects and embroiders words that later shape the work. “It is on the text that each of these pieces is built”, is how María Paula describes her work, who emphasizes that her works send a special message: “they are a hymn to the details of everyday life”.
All Colombians are invited to participate in the opening of this artistic exhibition. Entry is free of charge.
