Fundación Educación Católica and Microsoft sign a collaboration agreement to continue promoting innovation and educational transformation in its network of schools
This collaboration agreement aims to promote the implementation of the latest advances in educational technology, as well as promote the development of innovation and transformation projects that contribute to creating more flexible, attractive and inclusive learning experiences in the institution’s network of schools. educational.
The relationship between both institutions began more than a decade ago when Fundación Educación Católica (FEC) saw Microsoft as a strategic partner with which to improve the quality of education and training for its students by launching the digitization process of its centers. .
Madrid, March 29, 2023.- Catholic Education Foundation (FEC) y Microsofthave signed a collaboration agreement to reaffirm the commitment of both institutions to the digital transformation of education and the creation of innovative educational environments. The goal of this alliance is promote the implementation of the latest advances in educational technologyas well as promote the development of innovation and transformation projects that contribute to create more flexible, engaging and inclusive learning experiences in the network of schools of the educational institution.
Through this agreement, which has been signed by Juan Ignacio Yagüe, Executive Secretary of Fundación Educación Católica, and Francisco García Calvo, Director of Education for Microsoft in Spain, FEC confirms its commitment to the creation of innovative educational environments in their educational centers, that promote the digital talent, critical thinking and full inclusion in learning, thus promoting in its students the necessary skills to face the challenges of the digital age. Likewise, the educational institution, aware of the enormous opportunity and potential offered by Microsoft technology as a means of accessing information and as a tool to promote innovation, methodological change and cooperative attitudes, undertakes to value and integrate into its network of schools, made up of 22 educational centers, spread over 11 autonomous communities, news and technological advances that are produced in Microsoft tools.

For a decade FEC has relied on Microsoft to advance your digitization process and has carried out innovation and transformation projects that, thanks to this agreement, will be reinforced. All this will be possible thanks to the incorporation of the latest solutions aimed at improving communication and collaboration between teachers, administration staff, families and students, such as the latest updates of Microsoft 365 Education o Teams, which will allow the institution to provide more flexible, attractive and inclusive learning experiences. Along with this, solutions such as those Learning Accelerators – Learning Accelerators–a new category of personalized learning tools to assist faculty in creating, reviewing, and analyzing student progress and development in all academic subjects, will help extract the full potential of each one of them in a safe, private and inclusive environment.

Microsoft Learn for Educators, organized by learning paths that help teachers incorporate this official curriculum and updated teaching materials into their classes and spaces to connect with other educators and Microsoft experts, where they share best practices to inspire students in their training digital.
