Collaborating with the Indonesian Ministry of Religion, Indosat Ooredoo Supports Digital Madrasahs

Indosat Ooredoo Supports Distance Learning Digital Madrasah Program


“Indosat Ooredoo continues to deliver on its commitment to help society and communities in facing the COVID19 Pandemic. This time we are working with the Ministry of Religion to help with distance learning needs for Madrasah students. This cooperation agreement covers assistance provided by Indosat Ooredoo in the form of a free starter pack, and includes a 30 GB internet package. With this internet quota, Madrasah students throughout Indonesia can use it anytime and anywhere to access educational sites and portals to support their learning process, “ said Indosat Ooredoo’s Chief Business Officer, Bayu Hanantasena.


The signing of the collaboration between Indosat Ooredoo and the Ministry of Religion was carried out last week at the Ministry of Religion office, Central Jakarta by the SVP Head of Regional Account & SME Indosat Ooredoo, Fuli Humaeroh and Director of Madrasah Institutional and Student Curriculum, A. Umar.


Indosat Ooredoo is also working with the Ministry of Education and Culture to distribute government subsidies for students and teachers in the form of internet quota every month. Customers can register their current IM3 Ooredoo number to a school or campus to get this distance learning support.
