Colin Coosemans tells what the Anderlecht players think about the arrival of Olivier Renard

RSC Anderlecht has had an interesting week. That was swept away by a successful win against Kortrijk.

The musical chairs at the RSC Anderlecht continued undisturbed last week. Leave RSC Anderlecht’s Jesper Fredberg, enter the less welcome Olivier Renard.

Purple and White win against 4-0 KV Kortrijk luckily it brought a topic of discussion back to football this weekend for many involved. And that was urgently needed.

“This is the Anderlecht we want to see,” said the goalkeeper Colin Coosemans to Sporza. “Playing forward, pressing, good tackling and creating danger. We did not show what you can expect from Anderlecht in Bruges. Today we needed a response and we provided it.”

Kortrijk could not do much against Anderlecht and according to Coosemans that was also Anderlecht’s merit. The goalkeeper was also asked what the team thought about the arrival of new sporting director Olivier Renard.

“We spend so little time on that. Our actions must be performed on the field and we try to do that as well as possible. We need to achieve even more performances like today in the coming weeks. We have the qualities to fight against any opponent and we hope to continue the good momentum now. “
