Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has announced that the band won’t be making music forever. In fact, the group plans to make three more albums and not release any new music after that. “This is not a joke,” it sounds.

Their ninth album “Music Of The Spheres” was released today, but fans should not expect many more albums. Because after album number twelve, the band says they will stop making new music. “It’s not a joke. After 12 albums, it will be time to close that book,” the 44-year-old singer told Absolute Radio.

But the band won’t do a complete goodbye to the fans. The intention is to play live shows for as long as possible. “We want to play together forever, like the Stones do. It would be nice if we could still tour when we’re 70. It will be great, if someone wants to come and see it, of course,” says Martin.
