Due to the winter chill this weekend, the four major cities are opening their winter shelters for the homeless early. AmsterdamRotterdam, The Hague e Utrecht jointly state that it is with the expected temperatures from below zero is not responsible for people sleeping outside.
From Friday evening, homeless people can go to various places in the cities for three nights in a row. They receive a bed, a shower, a hot meal and breakfast. On Monday morning the temperature will rise again and the municipalities will close the winter shelter.
