Treyarch made in the patch notes known to be focused on a few bugs in various maps. For example, a bug in Nuketown ’84 has been addressed. In addition, there was an eye for XP and then weapons. Each weapon in the game will now level up faster in different modes.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has received a new update, which focuses on gaining XP, among other things. The developer has noticed that apparently players are taking too long to level their weapons and so they have adjusted that slightly. By playing with specific weapons you will now gain XP faster, so that the weapon in question will level up faster. The faster level increase for weapons applies not only to multiplayer mode, but also to zombies.
Cold War leveling took a very long time
Leveling the weapons took an awfully long time, according to Treyarch. It was noted by the developer that this was the case and players were not really making progress with their weapons. That is why this has been marked as an issue that has now been addressed. Read the full patch notes here.
