It is a common good and there is always someone who pays for it. At the exit, this someone is the taxpayer. »
On the other hand, the drinking water fountains very popular with joggers or walkers to cool off are still in service. They have even been improved. “Help yourself,” it says. But that was before this drought period. To be consumed in moderation, if you want to prevent them from experiencing the same fate as the showers.
Golf reduces consumption
The prefectural decree of August 4, imposing restrictions on the use of water from the drinking water network, does not currently concern the Chiberta golf course – unlike others – because it draws its water directly on groundwater. However, this is currently under severe strain. In this context, its board of directors has decided to target the areas to be favored (starters, forecourts and greens) in order to adjust its resources as well as possible, at the expense of the fairways which should turn yellow in the coming days.
