Meteorological forecasts indicate the presence of isolated weak rains over sectors of the northern, eastern and northwestern regions, as well as the entry of humidity from the Caribbean Sea.
Will Ochoa, the forecaster at Copeco’s Center for Atmospheric, Oceanographic and Seismic Studies (Cenaos), pointed out that in most regions, there will be “cool temperatures at dawn and very hot temperatures in the afternoon.”
This means that hot and dry conditions will appear after noon in the country.
As for the maximum temperatures, they will reach 28 degrees in Tegucigalpa with minimums of up to 13 degrees. For its part, 31 degrees in San Pedro Sula (north) with minimum temperatures of 19 degrees and 29 in Islas de Bahía (island area), with minimum temperatures of 26 degrees.
Likewise, maximum temperatures of 38 and 37 degrees are forecast for Valle and Choluteca (southern zone), also 29 degrees in Atlántida (Atlantic coast), 28 degrees in Ocotepeque (west), 30 degrees in Gracias a Dios (east) and 31 degrees in Comayagua and Olancho (center).
For its part, the department of Intibucá will be the one that presents cool temperatures with maximums of 22 degrees and even minimums of 5 degrees.
They also reported that the height of the waves will be from 2 to 4 feet in the Gulf of Fonseca and from 2 to 6 feet on the Caribbean coast.
