Cold Iron Studios has announced that while it will continue to support Aliens: Fireteam Elite, the development team will now primarily move on to work on its next game. According to a statement shared on X, Cold Iron specifically stated:
“We are in full development on a new title. Building on the success of Aliens: Fireteam Elite, Cold Iron is working hard to create a new experience for fans. More updates will be available as development progresses further.
For Aliens: Fireteam Elite fans wondering what this means for the current game, Cold Iron says it’s committed to continuing to deliver support and bug-fix updates, including the one going live today, and bringing matchmaking improvements and updates to Synths, Alphas, and Betas .
Additionally, Cold Iron revealed that there have been some changes at the executive level across the development staff, with Elena Siegman taking over as the new studio head and Kendall Davis as creative lead.
