Temperatures are around two degrees inland and around zero in the highest mountains. In the northeastern half it gets a little warmer around three degrees, as well as on the islands with six degrees.
An area of precipitation from the south will arrive on Monday night. In the second half of the night it may rain, in the southern half also sleet or snow. The danger of ice increases there. The lows are zero degrees in the south, two degrees in the north and four degrees over the islands.
Monday is completely overcast, the sun is not visible. It will remain rainy, there will be light snow in the mountains. The maximum values are one to three degrees in southern Lower Saxony and six degrees in East Friesland and on the islands.
On Tuesday night in the south there will be occasional rain and snow at high altitudes. There, temperatures drop by one degree, there can be light frosts and there is a risk of frost. It remains drier in the north, temperatures are mostly around two degrees, on the coasts around four degrees.
There are indications of a split on Tuesday. The southeast is overcast with little chance of sunshine. Depending on the altitude, light rain, sleet or snow may occur with maximum values around three degrees.
