10 lire Pegaso, a small treasure hidden in the past decades
Among the most precious and rare coins among those of the old lira we certainly find the 50 lire so-called Vulcano, coined in 1956, depicting a volcano. Considering the state of conservation we can consider the value of this coin hovering between 20 and the maximum 120 euros, if we are talking about a specimen in perfect condition. Then there is the so-called orange lira, dated 1947, with an orange branch on one side and a woman with spikes in her hair on the other. Value in excellent condition, around 1500 euros.
Precious piece, perhaps the most valuable of all it is certainly represented by the 10 lire minted between 1946 and 1950. On one side we have the winged horse Pegasus, on the other an olive branch with various descriptive writings. In this specific case we are talking about very high ratings for a exemplary in perfect condition. Valuations that touch the 3000 euros.
