Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The number of prospective physical crypto asset traders registered with CoFTRA is now reduced to 11 entities. This is because the commodity exchange regulatory agency revoked the registration certificates of two crypto exchanges.
CoFTRA has canceled its registration as a prospective Physical Crypto Asset trader at PT Bursa Cripto Prima and suspended the activities of PT Plutonext Digital Aset, as quoted from CoFTRA’s official website, Tuesday (12/28/2021).
In his explanation, CoFTRA froze PT Plutonext Digital Asset’s business activities because it never submitted daily transaction reports, daily and monthly financial reports, and activity reports to CoFTRA.
“This suspension of business activities does not eliminate or erase the responsibility of PT Plutonext Digital Asset for claims for any actions or violations that cause harm to other parties prior to the suspension of business activities,” CoFTRA wrote.
Meanwhile, PT Bursa Cripto Prima has frozen its operations and canceled its registration as a prospective physical trader of Crypto Assets.
“The cancellation of this registration mark was carried out because PT Bursa Cripto Prima did not take corrective steps within 30 days from the business freeze,” CoFTRA wrote.
Previously, CoFTRA published 13 lists of prospective physical crypto asset traders. The reduction of these two companies leaves physical traders of registered crypto assets left with 11 entities. Here’s the list:
