Zoltán Lomnici Jr., CÖF-CÖKA spokesperson, reported that they had sent a letter to the European Parliament’s Committee on Citizens’ Rights, Home Affairs and Justice (LIBE), in which they inquired about Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield’s professional background and qualifications. They did not receive an answer, but on the website of the European Greens there is information that the French representative, who writes the rule of law report on Hungary, used to be an actress, he indicated.
In this regard, he opined:
“we really like the theater, but in Hungary and developed legal states, it is not customary to play a role with someone when it comes to punishing a country”.
The Hungarian people have the right to know who is forming an opinion on Hungary in the legal field, so they are writing a letter to the committee again, said Mr. Zoltán Lomnici.
