Codecapital: Meeting the Digital Needs of Belgian Companies with Foreign IT Talent

Codecapital is the new name of the young Limburg software house that meets the digital needs of Belgian companies and organizations with the help of a pool of foreign IT talent. “The name change is part of a large, ambitious plan in which we will significantly expand both our team of project managers in Limburg and our permanent employees abroad,” say Pascal D’Helft and Bart Jansen, co-founders and managers of Codecapital. .

Codecapital was founded as Priceless-IT, a software company with a special working method. “Due to the major shortage of IT professionals in Belgium, it often takes a very long time before local companies get their website, app or other digital application out into the world,” say D’Helft and Jansen, who now also include Guy Dullaert and Kurt Aerts as have welcomed a fellow partner. “In order to realize a high-quality project quickly and affordably, we have a pool of our own people and freelancers abroad, who realize the applications according to the instructions of our Limburg project managers. A simple, but very valuable formula that only works for all parties. but brings benefits.”

To shape the new chapter in the growth plans, a new name was chosen: Codecapital. “The codes we write for our customers’ projects come from all capitals of the world,” the managers explain the choice of name. “Capital also refers to ‘human capital’: we meet the major shortage of specialized IT professionals in Belgium with our solution.”

Codecapital is ambitious. “We are currently working with 6 project managers in Limburg and still have 3 vacancies,” say Jansen and D’Helft. “This local team will therefore be expanded, also with sales profiles. We will soon be moving to a new building in Genk for this purpose.” But the foreign pool will also soon swell. “Today we already have 21 permanent people who work on projects for us full-time. It goes without saying that we want to increase that number in the coming years.”

Codecaptial not only wants to be the intermediary for the end customer, but also, as a ‘white label’, to facilitate other communication agencies and digital agencies to bring their customers’ projects to the world. “Finally, we also second our own foreign IT specialists to customers who would like to employ someone in their business for a longer period of time,” say the managers. “We want to become a reference in the sector in all these areas. Ambitious? Yes. But determined to make it happen!”
