Code in the iOS app reveals the name of Meta’s new vr headset

Facebook’s parent company Meta revealed at the end of 2021 that it has a new advanced vr headset under development, with the code name Cambria. Now developer Steve Moser has revealed the name of the headset, reports Bloomberg.

Hidden in the iOS version of the Quest app, Steve Moser found the text string “Pair Meta Quest Pro right controller”, and it looks like the headset will be called Quest Pro.

Bloomberg also has new information about the hardware in the headset and what it is expected to cost. The magazine writes that it will have better graphics performance than Quest, and be equipped with high-resolution cameras both externally and internally to simulate ar, more storage, new hand controls and screens with higher resolution. The prize will land at over $ 1,000.

The information is similar to those around the mixed reality headset Apple is rumored to plan to launch after the turn of the year.
