CoD Warzone: Mid-Season Update 1.55 – Release und Content
When is the update coming? Mid-Season starts on Wednesday, March 23rd. The start time is expected to be at 5 p.m. That’s when the small live event around Rebirth Island begins.
How big will the update be? There is no information about this yet. However, since a complete map is being adapted, it could be around 10 GB.
What’s in the update? Developer Raven has now released a roadmap and revealed more about Mid-Season 2 in an interview with gaming site CharlieIntel (via charlieintel.com):
- Facelift Rebirth Island
- MP (Armaguerra 43) as a new weapon
- Normal Battle Royale goes up to 150 health points
- Vanguard Royale has been completely canceled for the time being
- Small rebirth event with cosmetic rewards
- Weapon Exchange Stations
- You give up a weapon and get a lower rarity weapon and items in exchange.
Also coming April 19th is a new paid operator: Snoop Dog. We include the new roadmap of the mid-season here:

CoD Warzone: Information about the facelift of Rebirth Island: Reinforced
What is already known about the facelift? In addition to minor changes, the focus is on 3 adjustments in particular:
- To the southwest, the Security Area evolves into Stronghold
- A container ship docks in the southeast
- In the middle of the island, the boundary of the outside area of the prison will be given a new fence
You can take a closer look at the adjustments in the following images:
In addition, the “redeploy balloons” are coming to Rebirth Island and there should be communication towers on the map. For 1,500 cash you can start a reconnaissance ping that shows enemies on the minimap.
Incidentally, it is currently not entirely certain whether the life points on Rebirth Island will also increase to 150.
Rebirth Island is significantly more popular with parts of the community than the current, large map Caldera. Adjustments and variety are welcome.
How things will continue after Mid-Season 2 cannot be said for sure at the moment. The announcement periods have become much shorter since the fiasco surrounding the integration of Vanguard into Warzone.
