The CDL Super Week action continued with three more matches, here’s all that happened.
Last night’s CDL Super Week games provided the action we all know and love, with three more games. Here’s everything that happened and some important stats to note.
Paris Legion 3-0 Florida Mutineers
The Paris Legion won on a 222-220 map. This is the first game to go down on the game clock this season, and saw Paris come out of the point to reduce the clock. It was an extremely daring piece of Paris, but it worked in their favor. Aqua lost 38 wins playing exceptionally with AR, and giving Paris a 1-0 lead in the series.
Legion’s momentum continued into the second map where they clinched a 6-4 victory to take a 2-0 lead in the series. While Paris played very well to take that card, it was more due to Florida’s mistakes, seeing them offer multiple benefits for the men. Florida were 7-2 in the early bloods, showing their inability to hold numbers caused them to lose the card.
The Paris Legion completed a quick 3-0 with a 3-1 control victory. Classic dominated, placing 32/22 on his birthday, showing that this Paris Legion team can compete, and shocking everyone tonight.
New York Subliners 3-0 London Royal Ravens
The New York Subliners earned a 250-141 victory to claim their first card of the 2021 Call of Duty League season. Seany tried to get London through, going 30/21, but a big 32 kills from Clayster saw NYSL go 1-0 in the series.
Asim’s incredible 13/1 saw the Subliners take a 2-0 lead in the series with a dominant 6-1 SnD win. It was a clinical performance for the NYSL, and could have been a 6-0 if it hadn’t been for a defusing heads-up from Seany in the first round. New York completed a quick 3-0 in a 3-0 Checkmate Control victory. It was an outstanding display from New York, and it puts London 0-2 in the group with Dallas, LA Thieves and Minnesota yet to play.
Minnesota Rokkr contre Seattle Surge
Minnesota Rokkr won a dominant victory on the 250-163 map. It was an excellent overall performance from the team that allowed them to hold 4th and 5th places perfectly throughout the map, taking a 1-0 lead in the series. As Search and Destroy went the distance, Minnesota kept their record intact by hanging on at the end to go 2-0 in the series.
Rokkr took a 2-0 lead in control, but Seattle pulled it back to a round 5. He looked awesome for Seattle with seconds to go, but Minnesota stole and took the point, winning the series 3-0.
CDL Super Week continues with three more games tonight, starting at 3 p.m. ET.
