Olympiacos was crowned Greek champions for the 45th time in its history after successfully defeating Ike Athena 2-2 in the fourth round of the tournament stage of the competition.
Olympiacos finished the regular stage of the league with 66 points, 14 points behind second-placed PAOK.
Olympiacos managed to score 12 points in the first four games of the championship stage, bringing its score to 78 points, outperforming PAOK who scored seven points in the last stage to reach a total score of 59 points.
Only four matches remain in the championship stage, which gave Olympiacos the championship title early, given PAOK’s inability to catch up with it.
Olympiacos striker and Egypt national team, Ahmed Hassan “Coca” participated in the 77th minute of the Greek league coronation match, after the match started on the bench.
It is worth noting that Coca has been playing with Olympiacos since January, after he left for him from Sporting Braga Portugal.
