Architects, a notary, a fashion manager, the owner of a boating agency, a former member of the police, sportsmen, a trade unionist. And now even a friar. the list, ever longer, of the unsuspected people who participated in Bologna cocaine parties and sex with escorts. Not just those a Villa Inferno – in Pianoro, on the Bolognese hills, with the presence of a minor; 15 suspects – but also in other elegant villas on the outskirts of the city. All this emerges from the papers of a new line of investigation conducted by the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit and coordinated by the prosecutor Stefano Dambruoso.

One of the organizers, a 46-year-old businessman well known in the world of local nightlife for having also managed a well-known nightclub in the past, under investigation for drug dealing, aiding and abetting of prostitution and death as a result of another crime (drug sales). The man allegedly involved in the sale of drugs to a 55-year-old former tennis player – in his youth among the top 40 of the national ranking and organizer of tournaments with old glories – who died, apparently of a heart attack, at the end of an evening in December 2017.

The new investigation started from the statements of a woman who, heard for the first time in November 2020, had reconstructed an evening at Villa Inferno where she had accompanied the 46-year-old under investigation. The forty-year-old said she saw many wealthy characters accompanied by girls in skimpy clothes. But above all he spoke of a kind of higher level. That is, parties in the villas of rich Bolognese where there would have been those who, for money – the sums were variable, starting at 80 euros -, would have offered cocaine or a girl to be found directly at home. The entrepreneur would have been involved in the organization of the drug-parties as a matchmaker.
But there is also another background, of which he wrote the Courier of Bologna. On 28 October the man who was under investigation would have presented himself in an elegant restaurant where the witness was having dinner with three friends. Furious, he would have waved the reports signed by her in front of the investigators in which he accused him of being at the center of the prostitution and drug dealing ring connected to the evenings he organized. On those sheets, with indicated participants and addresses, there would also have been the name of a stylist who at that moment was at the table with the lady and two other people. The 46-year-old allegedly insulted the woman in front of the customers of the club and accused her of having implicated him in the death of the former tennis player. He would have said to her: It is useless for you to lie, you have named thirty people …. And among these, the designer would have learned by reading those minutes, he would have been there too.

The woman, on the advice of her lawyer Barbara Iannucelli, went to the barracks an hour later to file a complaint. And not just because of the threats and insults she would be targeted at the restaurant. There is to understand why the statements of my client, with investigations still open – says the lawyer -, ended up in the hands of the man who accused. A question to which investigators also want to answer, who hypothesize the crime of obstructing justice. But the friar about whom he wrote yesterday the Rest of the Carlino? Not investigated, maybe it won’t be either. From the judicial papers we only read that the cleric frequented a couple of nightclubs, attended parties at the home of one of the organizers, his friend and had a history of sex with one of the escorts.
