Coburg: Samba Festival in July – Brazilian stars transform city into “Franconian Copacabana”

Carla Visi, who became known as the singer of the band “Cheiro de Amor”, composed and interpreted many of the most successful songs from Ax Musik, the Bahian carnival music. The artist also uses frevos and gallops in her songs, those rhythms that have also dominated carnival at all times.

As Sambaco GmbH reports, the singer is one of the most versatile and musical ambassadors for her home country Brazil. A rich, joyful musical show performed by one of the most beautiful voices that ax music has to offer the world!

Samba Festival Coburg: Top artists bring Brazilian attitude to life

Anyone who would like to see Carla Visi at the 2022 Samba Festival has the opportunity to do so on Saturday, July 9 at 8:30 p.m. on the Schlossplatz stage.

Other top Brazilian artists on the festival stages

Samba has a lot to do with percussion and rhythm – but by no means only! In addition to the singer and choreographer Nice Ferreira, there are also Vando Oliveira “Tudo nosso”, Osmar Oliveira with “Sambatuque”, Samuel Neves, Paulo Lopes, the Viva Brasil Show, DJ Crell and many other artists on the festival stages and in the congress center. This brings the Brazilian attitude to life to the European capital of samba. This year, the international festival is taking place for the 30th time in the small Franconian town in northern Bavaria.
