The affected companies, businesses, self-employed and associations as well as institutions will receive a reimbursement amount for November amounting to 75 percent of the corresponding turnover of the previous month. The Bundestag member Hans Michelbach announced this on Thursday. Overall, the federal government expects an aid volume of around ten billion euros.
The MP emphasized: “Due to the ongoing corona pandemic, health protection is currently the top priority. We want to and must consistently reduce the number of infections. In order to keep daycare centers, schools and as many companies as possible open, catering and leisure facilities must remain closed. Restaurants directly affected, Bars and the self-employed deserve our financial solidarity. This is where we as parliament and society stand in our word. ” There are also special regulations for bakeries and pastry shops with an attached café. These are now considered to be catering establishments and are covered by the November aid decision. Eligible applicants who commenced their business activities after October 31, 2019 can compare the monthly sales in October 2020 or the monthly average sales since the company was founded.

This ensures that bakeries with cafés, but especially young companies that are particularly dependent on financial stability, do not fall through the rust of aid.
