The first place in declamation was for the 18 Atltzayanca campus and the winner with the first position in storytelling was the 02 Huamantla campus
Tlaxcala, Tlax on April 25, 2023 (Editorial).- Within the framework of the XXXVIII Interbachilleres Sports, Civic, Artistic and Cultural Meetings 2023, the College of Bachelors of the State of Tlaxcala (Cobat) held the Declamation and Storytelling Contest, in the Theater of the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) , located in the General Hospital of Zone number 8, in Tlaxcala capital.
The Academic Director, Norma Alicia Sánchez Calderón, welcomed the holder of the Cobat, Darwin Pérez y Pérez, who mentioned his enthusiasm for the number of participants that showed up this year. He stressed that the collaboration of the students in this meeting is very important, since in this way the importance of language and the use of the word is made clear, for which he wished them the best of luck, recognized their effort and asked his delivery when competing.
In the same way, Sánchez Calderón mentioned that the College community values the effort of all those involved so that these activities are carried out, recognized the Sub-directorate of Para-school Activities and thanked the state delegate of the IMSS, Julio Gutiérrez Méndez, for supporting these cultural encounters.
The qualifying jury was made up of Alejandro Ipatzi Pérez; the writer Ana Reyes Butrón; the director of Theater and School Restrictions Apply (ARTyES), Faustino Ríos Témix and Renata Luna Marines, Likewise, the event was chaired by the deputy director of Paracurricular Activities, Alejandro Alonso Herrera Lumbreras.
Finally, the jury gave first place in declamation to the student Gwuendolyn Sánchez Montiel, representative of the 18 Atltzayanca campus, second place was awarded to the student Leonardo Romero Amezquita from the 21 Ayometla campus; and the third was delivered to Inés Gómez Juárez from the 17 Cuapiaxtla campus.
While in Storytelling, the 02 Huamantla team won first place thanks to Jeshua Ortiz de Marcos; the second position went to Tania Andrade Luna, representative of the 23 San Pablo del Monte campus; and the third place went to the representative of the 07 Buenavista squad, Fabián Guzmán Pelcastre.
Thus, the Colegio de Bachilleres del Estado de Tlaxcala fosters a love for stories and reading among its student community; in addition, it maintains the oral diffusion of history, culture and roots; giving due importance to emotions and their expression through stage skills.
