Aden (Al-Ittihad)

Yesterday, the Yemeni Coast Guard – Red Sea Sector was able to seize a ship carrying smuggled weapons and ammunition for the Houthi group.
The joint Yemeni forces explained, “The Coast Guard in the Red Sea sector received information from the General Intelligence Division of the National Resistance, about weapons and ammunition smuggled to the Houthi group across the Red Sea, and quickly moved and dealt with them.”
She explained that the Coast Guard in the Mokha Center intensified its maritime and coastal patrols and was able to reach the target, where two wooden boats were seized, one of which carried weapons and ammunition.
In this context, the Houthi group intensified its targeting of civilian objects in 3 governorates, a few hours after the United Nations announced the road map and an initial agreement by the parties to the conflict to cease fire and engage in a comprehensive solution.
In the Maqbanah District, west of Taiz, the Houthi group targeted the villages of the Suwayhra area adjacent to the Hays District, south of Hodeidah, using artillery shells and machine guns.
In the Shabwa Governorate, east of the country, artillery shelling by the Houthis targeted populated areas in the Upper Markha District.
Meanwhile, a similar bombing targeted populated villages north of Al Dhalea Governorate.
