Coast are coming to Hamburg at the end of August

The blues rock band Coast couldn’t wait to get back on stage. On August 28th the time has come in Hamburg.

Coast keep a timeless genre alive: Celtic Rock. The brothers Paul Eastham and Chris Barnes, who formed the band in 2007, are from Scotland. Their songs capture the rough atmosphere of the landscape and the quaint people who populate the pubs. While the beginnings of the sextet sounded very folky, Coast are rockier today. And now it’s that time again in Germany: Coast are coming on 28. August in the Downtown Bluesclub in Hamburg.

“We have booked a few gigs for the fall as a preventive measure,” Paul Eastham said some time ago. “Because we are convinced that coming together, for example at concerts, is very important for the mind in emotionally depressing times. Singing, dancing, laughing together, these are all basic human instincts. We want to convey positive energy. That’s what art stands for in the end. ”Fortunately, the band’s wish to get back on stage as soon as possible has been fulfilled.
