The forming parties in the provinces of Zeeland and South Holland are out. In Zeeland, the BoerBurgerBeweging (BBB), SGP, CDA and VVD will form a coalition together. In South Holland, the BoerBurgerBeweging (BBB), VVD, GroenLinks, PvdA and CDA have agreed on a coalition agreement.
Within the college to be formed in Zeeland, BBB will have two deputies, the other parties one each. The coalition agreement that will be presented on Friday has been concluded under the leadership of formateur Gerard Rabelink. The portfolio distribution has already been announced.
BBB won nine of the 39 seats in the province of Zeeland in the March elections. The combination PvdA/GroenLinks six, and the CDA and SGP each five. The VVD now has four seats in the Provincial Council. The current coalition consists of CDA, SGP, VVD and PvdA.
In South Holland, the parties will present their agreement on Monday in the provincial house in The Hague.
Zeeland and South Holland are the fourth and fifth provinces to have reached an agreement, after Gelderland, Limburg and Flevoland.
