Coahuila records first death from COVID-19; contagion cases increase to 23

IMSS installs respiratory TRIAGE

At the General Hospital of Zone Number 7 of the IMSS in Monclova, as well as in the rest of the state hospitals, special areas known as Respiratory Triage were enabled to treat patients with symptoms of COVID-19.

Staff of the dIMSS elegance in Coahuila, pointed out that as a prevention and containment measure, a hospital wing that gives access to the street was set up for a couple of days and the Respiratory Triage was established, so that the patient who arrives with any symptoms does not have contact with the rest of the hospital.

For its part, the Ministry of Health, ordered citizens not to leave home and if they present any of the symptoms, go to the nearest Health unit or dial 911.

In the same way, he urged to report to the authorities his entrance to the state, in case of returning from a trip abroad and also to 911 to give timely follow-up and, if necessary, apply the confirmatory test.

To date, there are 23 positive cases of Covid-19 in Coahuila

Of the 8 new cases confirmed by the Ministry of Health, 7 cases are the Municipality of Monclova by local contagion, and one in the Municipality of Saltillo, which had contact with a person from abroad.
