Coahuila. Laguneros artists travel as a ‘backpack’ to carry their art

Young people from Lleida and urban artists asked ‘raid‘in Las Meloneras, from Matamoros, Coahuila for the ‘backpack‘ go to Saltillo O Parras, get to know those places in order to also express their art.

There are 6 young people who drew attention for their way of dressing and who were standing on one of the ridges of Las Meloneras, with white cardboard in hand with the phrase “Parras or Saltillo”, they asked raid for those destinations.

The spokesmen of the group Iván Pereira Reveles and Isaac Fernando Garcías Reyes, showed that this is how they arrive at the destinations they decide, walk through its streets, eat in the markets and preferably ask for raids.

Being in the place, the streets become their stage and their adventure begins, as each one shows off their art, from dancing, photography, juggling, drawing, dancing or singing.

The young Iván Pererira Reveles, is the leader of this group of urban artists and talks that are originally from Lerdo, they are dedicated to culture and art.

She indicated that in her case, she is a multicultural artist, a juggler, a landscape or portrait painter, a craftsman, a musician, and although she was studying Renewable Energies at a University in Lerdo, “I took those of the trips and this fills me, makes me feel very well, unique experiences are lived as well as exciting ”.

He also said that this lifestyle is also mentally positive and healthy, as it helps them physically to walk from one place to another, and juggling is also an exercise of dexterity, ability and balance.

Isaac Fernando, said that they took a truck from the Torreón-Gómez-Lerdo family and when they reached the city of Torreón, they took another course to Matamoros, where they arrived at Las Meloneras because vehicles go by there bound for Saltillo or Parras, they would be there until they got a raid to any of those destinations.

In Lerdo they dedicate themselves to culture, he likes photography a lot, but he also practices the kendowhich he loves and knows he does very well.

“We love street art and that’s why we go to Parras or maybe Saltillo, that’s why here we are, waiting for the raid that will take us to any of those places to demonstrate our skills and also that way we have fun and we also provoke the same to those who look at us or they enjoy what we do ”, expressed Isaac Fernando.
