The coaching staff‍ for the qualifying tournament now consists⁢ of nine members,including head coach Zeng Haoju; chief and catcher⁢ coach Gao Zhigang; pitching coaches Lin‌ Yueping and Wang Jianmin; hitting coaches Peng ​Zhengmin and Gao Guohui; infield fielding coach Chen ⁤Jianghe; outfield fielding and running coach Zhang ⁢Jianming; ‍and the newly appointed physical fitness coach,Chen Zonghong.

While the⁣ roster will see a major ​shakeup,one​ familiar face remains: Chen Jiexian,the “Taiwan⁤ captain,”‌ will be part of the‌ 35-man squad. Head coach Zeng Haoju commented on this decision, stating, ​”I originally⁣ hoped that Chen Jiexian could rest, but his willingness to participate is high.” This sentiment was echoed by Cai‌ Qichang, president of the secondary vocational school, who added, “Chen Jiexian ⁢himself has ​a strong intention to ⁤participate and⁤ is embarrassed‌ to stop it.”
