Jozef Weber has been the Dynamo manager since June this year, replacing club legend David Horejš in Budějovice. He has spent most of his playing career with Dinamo and has also been coach of team A since October 2015. He left for Jablonec after last season.
It was Saturday’s match with Jablonec that became fatal for Weber. Dynamo in the north lost 0: 3 and dropped to 14th place. Weber’s Budějovice had the worst record of the league at home, not winning at Střelecký ostrov since the start of the season. They are disappointed with a losing defense (27 goals conceded), only Teplice (31) and Pardubice (37) have scored more goals.
Jiří Lerch and Jiří Kladrubský will coach Dynamo until the end of autumn. Former Budejovice players have worked as Weber’s assistants until now. Meanwhile, the head of Budejovice Vladimír Koubek must seek a permanent solution.
It is already the third manager change of the season. Before Budějovice, coaches changed in Pardubice (Radoslav Kováč for Jiří Krejčí and Jaroslav Novotný) and Baník (Pavel Hapal for Pavel Vrba).
