Today, McDonald’s Hong Kong brings good news to everyone—to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the launch of Chicken McNuggets, it has cooperated with a number of artists to hold the first Chicken McNuggets-themed art exhibition. To celebrate the 40th birthday of Chicken McNuggets, McDonald’s Hong Kong invited Kevin Poon, the creative director of various fields, as the curator, and invited 5 contemporary artists including VANDYTHEPINK, Jon Burgerman, UFO907, Gyuhan Lee and FrankNitty3000 to hold the “Coach McNugget Art World” immersive contemporary art exhibition at the Arts Pavilion in the West Kowloon Cultural District. The 5 artists will also re-interpret the role of Chicken McNuggets in the past 40 years from their artistic perspectives, and regain old memories in new ways.

For this exhibition, 5 artists including American-Korean artist VANDYTHEPINK, famous British childlike artist Jon Burgerman, American street artist UFO907, Korean lighting sculpture artist Gyuhan Lee who is good at using traditional “Korean paper” and digital artist FrankNitty3000 from the Netherlands specially put on a new image for the classic representative of McNuggets – Coach McNugget, and formed Team McNuggets together with a group of newly designed members ®, take this artistic journey with you. In addition, McDonald’s Hong Kong also cooperated with The Sandbox to create “McNuggets® Land” in Metaverse and provide the first McDonald’s-themed game to promote Web3 digital culture and bring an alternative and interesting experience.

The content of the exhibition is very rich. Visitors can first walk into the “time tunnel” to understand the short story of Chicken McNuggets, and appreciate 20 works including paintings, three-dimensional exhibits and interactive digital devices. Afterwards, everyone can also use their creativity on the spot to design a new shape for Chicken McNuggets. Outdoors, there are multiple check-in spots, such as the giant Chicken McNuggets box and Team McNuggets® interactive check-in. Exclusive sale of limited edition boutiques carefully designed by VANDYTHEPINK in the venue.
