The head coach of Lokomotiv, Canadian Mike Pelino, who contracted COVID-19 coronavirus infection at the end of March and managed to defeat the disease. This was reported by the press service of the Yaroslavl hockey club.
“We are pleased to announce that Lokomotiv head coach Mike Pelino and his wife have recovered from the coronavirus. We wish the whole Pelino family good health,” club statement.
Recall that the 60-year-old Canadian specialist headed the Lokomotiv during the 2019/20 season. The Yaroslavl team under his leadership reached the playoffs of the Gagarin Cup, where in the first round they lost to the Finnish “Jokerit”.
