Two people were injured on Saturday evening because a passenger bus in Weidum (Friesland) got off the road and ended up in a ditch.
The police speak of a unilateral accident. Emergency services came out to assist in the accident.
At the time of the accident, four passengers were on the bus. They have since been liberated. The driver is still on the bus and is currently being treated by ambulance personnel.
The bus The Grone, which is normally used for touristic tours through Groningen, was used by Arriva on Saturday evening as a replacement transport due to work on the track.
