CO2 sensors: classrooms equipped in Laroque-des-Albères

The municipality took advantage of the school holidays to install CO2 sensors in each classroom, daycare center and canteen. These make it possible to determine the air quality of a room and the danger of contamination by Covid-19.

According to health authorities, if a classroom exceeds a carbon dioxide level of 800 PPM (parts per million), this means that the air is poorly renewed, that the virus may therefore be present in large quantities and that the room must be ventilated.

The little Rocatins and all the staff will thus be able to safely implement the reduced protocol that awaits them at the start of the school year.
