“Co-defendant Files Notice of Proposed Testimony in Georgia Election Interference Case”

Co-defendant Proposes Testimony in Georgia Election Interference Case

In a surprising turn of events, a co-defendant in the 2020 Georgia election interference case has filed a notice of proposed testimony following Terrence Bradley’s testimony in the disqualification hearing for Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and her office. This motion, filed on behalf of David Shafer, suggests that attorney Cindi Lee Yeager could provide crucial information related to the case.

Yeager, a co-chief deputy district attorney for Cobb County, reached out to Shafer’s counsel after watching Bradley’s testimony. According to the motion, Yeager and Bradley had multiple conversations between August 2023 and January 2024, during which they discussed Willis and Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade.

One of the most shocking revelations from Bradley’s alleged statements is that Willis and Wade began a romantic relationship after meeting at the 2019 Municipal Court Continuing Legal Education Conference. This relationship reportedly spanned from 2019 through 2020, overlapping with Willis’s campaign for District Attorney. Yeager claims that Bradley had “personal knowledge” of their relationship, including details about the use of an apartment belonging to Robin Yeartie, as well as other meetings before November 2021.

Furthermore, Yeager asserts that she was present in Bradley’s office in September 2023 when he received a call from Willis. Allegedly, she overheard Willis telling Bradley, “They are coming after us. You don’t need to talk to them about anything about us.” The call was supposedly related to an article discussing the financial compensation received by Wade and his partners.

In light of this new information, Shafer’s motion requests that if the Court reopens the hearing to receive additional evidence, as requested by both the state and former President Donald Trump, the defense be allowed to subpoena Yeager and present her testimony. This could potentially shed more light on the alleged relationship between Willis and Wade, and its impact on the election interference case.

Terrence Bradley was initially expected to be the star witness for Michael Roman and attorney Ashleigh Merchant in their attempt to disqualify Willis and her team. However, during the initial hearing on February 15-16, Bradley claimed attorney-client privilege and refused to answer questions regarding the relationship. After a meeting with Judge Scott McAfee to review the rules of attorney-client privilege, Bradley was called back to the stand, but his answers were either evasive or speculative.

Judge McAfee is expected to make a decision on the motion in about two weeks, while former President Donald Trump’s team has also requested cellphone data for Wade to provide evidence of the relationship’s commencement. The state, on the other hand, has argued against the accuracy and significance of this data.

In a separate development, attorney Ashleigh Merchant is scheduled to testify before Georgia’s Senate Special Committee on Investigations on Wednesday. This hearing may provide additional insights into the ongoing controversy surrounding Fulton County DA Fani Willis and Nathan Wade.

As the case unfolds, it becomes increasingly clear that there are deep-seated tensions and alleged improprieties within the Fulton County District Attorney’s office. The proposed testimony by Cindi Lee Yeager could potentially be a game-changer, shedding light on the alleged romantic relationship between Willis and Wade and its potential impact on the 2020 Georgia election interference case. Only time will tell how these developments will influence the outcome of the trial and the reputation of those involved.
