Missions

Perform ptychographic reconstruction of diffraction maps in four-dimensional scanning transmission electron microscopy

Activities

The aim of this project is to carry out the ptychographic reconstruction of diffraction maps in four-dimensional scanning transmission electron microscopy. Ptychography often uses an iterative algorithm to reconstruct the output phase of the electronic wave function. This project will carry out ptychographic reconstructions and compare different reconstruction algorithms on simulated data.
The stains:
– run simulations
– do the reconstruction with different algorithms
– compare these algorithms

SKILLS

Work context

The candidate will work in the electron microscopy team. of the laboratory. The NEEL Institute, UPR 2940 CNRS, is one of the largest French national research institutes for fundamental research in condensed matter physics enriched with interdisciplinary activities at interfaces with chemistry, engineering and biology. It is located in the heart of a unique scientific, industrial and cultural environment. It is part of one of the largest high-tech environments in Europe next to the French Alps.

The position is located in a sector falling under the protection of scientific and technical potential (PPST), and therefore requires, in accordance with regulations, that your arrival be authorized by the competent authority of the MESR.
