The super debate of the leaders will start the European election broadcast
CNN Prima News at the same time on Wednesday April 10th broadcasts superdebate of the leaders of the Czech female candidates to of the European Parliament. It will be broadcast at 21.00 live directly from the European Parliament in Brussels, where together with the moderator Theresa Tománková there will also be an audience in the studio. CNN Prima News thereby follows the series of debates from the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg under the title Czech interests in Europe.
“The interest in our debates under the title Czech interests in Europe shows that viewers are aware that decisions are made in Brussels and Strasbourg about matters that have a fundamental influence on life in the Czech Republic. We therefore consider it our long-term duty to convey to them the views and visions of the MEPs who represent or want to represent them in the EU. That is why, as the first TV station in our country, we will organize a debate of the leaders of the Czech female candidates directly in the European Parliament in Brussels, i.e. in the place where they should represent the Czech citizens in case of success. And we are very pleased that even the candidates who are still applying for the post of MEPs will personally arrive directly at the studio in Brussels. And even with their supporters, who will sit in the audience in the studio,” says the editor-in-chief of CNN Prima News news and journalism Tomáš Vojáček.
Eight female candidate leaders will be introduced. Klára Dostálová (nestr. for ANO), Alexander Vondra (Together), Danuše Nerudová (not for STAN), Marcel Kolaja (Pirates), Petr Mach (SPD a Tricolor), Kateřina Konečná (That’s enough!) Lubomír Zaorálek (SocDem), Filip Turek (not p. for the Oath and Motorists To Each Other).
According to CNN Prima News, the candidates were selected on the basis of averaging the relevant pre-election polls for the elections to the European Parliament and the Chamber of Deputies in the maximum possible number that the study capacities of the European Parliament in Brussels allow.
The debate itself will be preceded by a special broadcast from behind the scenes of the European Parliament from 8 p.m. It will bring short interviews with individual candidates. The debate is followed by an extraordinary broadcast of the program from 11:00 p.m 360°dedicated to the most fundamental thing that was heard in the debate.
The broadcast on the European elections begins with the first super debate on CNN Prima News. Further debates and special programs are planned.
