CMA CGM launches a new service that connects San Antonio with New York

CMA CGM will launch the new Americas XL service which will connect the west coast of South America and the east coast of the United States. The service will thus connect San Antonio and New York.

The French shipping company has specified that the circuit will begin to operate from December 2022.

The service will have ships that will be operated 100% by CMA CGM, being the only one that will connect the west coast of South America with the east coast of the United States.

CMA CGM also indicated that the route includes the ports of Port Everglades, Philadelphia and New York to / from Buenaventura, Guayaquil, Callao and San Antonio.

It also offers connections to and from the Gulf of the United States, the east coast of South America, the Mediterranean, Northern Europe via Kingston and Cartagena.

The company has ensured that the service will have a competitive transit time and is designed for the transfer of perishable products and fresh fruit with a minimum of 500 reefer connections per ship.

The Americas XL rotation will be Port Everglades – Philadelphia – New York – Kingston – Buenaventura – Callao – San Antonio – Guayaquil – Cartagena – Port Everglades

The First Northern Call will correspond to the ship M / N Dimitris C – which will leave Callao on 20 December 2022

While the first southbound call will be made from M / V Dimitris C, departing Port Everglades on January 8, 2023.
