CM – Lakers vs Hawks: prediction, points spread, odds, over / under, choice of bets

The Los Angeles Lakers take on the Atlanta Hawks on Friday, and if you’re looking to do some last minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and upper / lower number, as well as the information you need to make the smartest bet on Tipico Sportsbook.

The match starts at 7 p.m. PT and can be seen on ESPN, Spectrum SportsNet and Bally Sports Southeast.

Los Angeles (20-19) are aiming for their fourth consecutive victory as LeBron James in the center has unlocked a new dynamic for the roster without Anthony Davis in the mix. Malik Monk and Talen Horton-Tucker have provided invaluable attacking assistance lately, and Austin Reaves and Trevor Ariza are among the returnees in the health and safety protocol who are expected to provide defensive resistance.

Atlanta (17-20) is not as bad as the record suggests. Players left out of health and safety protocol have decimated the Hawks’ roster in recent weeks, but some players could return for this game: Bogdan Bogdanovic, John Collins and Jalen Johnson. Trae Young is listed as questionable after not playing on Wednesday. His absence, if he can’t play, will be huge for LA’s chances of winning.

Hawks: OUT – Cameron Oliver, Chris Clemons, Gorgui Dieng (all health and safety protocols); Solomon Hill (hamstrings), De’Andre Hunter (wrist); Questionable – Bogdan Bogdanovic, John Collins, Jalen Johnson (return to competitive conditioning); Trae Young (back); Likely – Cam Reddish (ankle)

In the last five games, the Hawks have allowed their opponents to score: 130, 131, 118, 136 and 102 points. The Hawks are 2-3 in that span. The team could look a lot better if some of the key players return, but the Lakers have scored 132, 139 and 122 points in three of their last five games, so it certainly has the potential to hit the bar.

The Lakers should have those four straight wins, so take the Lakers minus-2.5, Lakers minus-150, and the over 228.5.
