A cluster of parents and children in Randaberg, a total of seven people, have this weekend tested positive for covid-19. This is stated by the municipality in a press release on Sunday.

Two school classes with 32 students at Goa school and 54 children in Endrestø kindergarten are quarantined until Wednesday.

– Parents of the students in question have already received notification from the school, and the infection tracking team will contact everyone by phone, the school states on its own website.

The other classes in Goa meet at the usual time on Monday morning.

– New tests have been done, so-called sequencing, on several samples in the cluster, and no mutated virus has been detected in any of the recent cases of infection in Randaberg, says Ole Bernt Lenning in the press release.

Employees and children at Goa school and in Endrestø kindergarten are encouraged to get tested already for mild symptoms of respiratory infection.

On Sunday evening, the quarantine was also notified of a group in Viste kindergarten.
– The cluster infection entails the waiting quarantine for two wards in Viste Kindergarten, until there are negative tests. We probably do not have all the answers to this until Wednesday, says municipal chief physician Lenning.

In total, the quarantine in Viste kindergarten includes 28 children and 10 adults.

According to Randaberg24 have one person tested positive for corona in kindergarten.
