The Clungene® Corona Antigen Rapid Test Kit, SARS-CoV-2 is a lateral flow immunoassay method for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid antigens in nasopharyngeal swabs and oropharyngeal swabs of persons suspected of having COVID-19 infection.
Results are for detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid antigen. Antigen is generally detectable in nasopharyngeal swabs and oropharyngeal swabs during the acute phase of infection. Positive results indicate the presence of viral antigens, but clinical relevance to patient history and other diagnostic information is required to determine infection status.
The Clungene Corona Antigen Rapid Test Kit, SARS-CoV-2, is intended for use by trained clinical laboratory personnel who have been specifically instructed and trained in the in vitro diagnostic procedure.
