Fear: Dylan Gonzalez
Luis Cruz, president of Vida, came out to defend himself and gave information that no one expected regarding the signing of Luis Palma.
Days ago the news came out that the coconut trees owed late payments to players and coaching staff, including the current strategist of the Ceibeño club, Héctor Vargas said that he has had to take money out of his pocket to help the players who do not even have a way to travel to the club headquarters.
With all this, the red boss came out to show his face and gave surprising statements, ”The payment we received from Aris was 1,036 euros, for the transfer of Luis to Celtic, we are acting to claim the part that corresponds to us. “We have provided support to Luis, although we have not even received the entire initial transfer, Aris owes us about 50 thousand euros from Palma’s transfer.”
It must be remembered that Vida kept 35% of Palma’s token, therefore, any transfer that the player has to another club, Reds would have to receive a certain percentage.
”We made the first transfer for 200 thousand euros, we keep 35% of the token in case of future sale, so we have not received the first payment. Celtic bought Luis for 4.8 million euros.” Cruz commented.
Luis concluded by clarifying that they are already demanding payment of the money that belongs to them, that if they had not done so before it was so as not to affect Palma, but that if they do not receive what belongs to them they will escalate the case to FIFA.
