The Dutch tint Club Brugge endorsed a lucrative outbound transfer on Thursday evening. Ruud Vormer, Noa Lang, Bas Dost and Stefano Denswil wave off winger Krépin Diatta: the 21-year-old Senegalese moves to AS Monaco.
The 21-year-old winger played for 85 minutes in the home game against KV Oostende on Wednesday, but left one day later: this reports Blue-Black through his official channels. The switch from Diatta had been in the pipeline for several days and was completely completed on Thursday. He has been the second most expensive outgoing transfer from Club Brugge since Thursday: only Brazilian Wesley (left for Aston Villa for 25 million euros in 2019) yielded a higher transfer fee.
The Senegalese was, however, taken away from the Norwegian for two million euros in January 2018 Sarpsborg. He quickly made a big impression in the Belgian league and has been on the radar of foreign teams for a while. Diatta was even linked to Ajax once, but then Club managed to keep its goldcrest. After twenty goals and eleven assists in 95 games, the adventure in the Jan Breydel Stadium is over.
Merci Krépin! Our Senegalese flank attacker moves to AS Monaco. We wish you all the best! 💪ðŸÂ ?? ¿ðŸ’ªðŸÂ ?? ¿ # Thank youKrépin
