‘Club Brugge pays millions to take over Lang from Ajax’

Club Brugge pays six million euros Noa Lang to take over from Ajax. This is what Voetbal International reports. Long had with Ajax another contract for one year.

Ajax and Club Brugge made Lang’s transfer official on Monday. The winger signs a four-year contract in Belgium, until mid-2024. Long is first rented from Ajax for a year, after which the club must take him over permanently. Such agreements are often made when the buying club cannot immediately come up with the transfer amount.

Ajax had no prospect of playing minutes for a long time. He made a good impression in the preparation for this season, but barely came into action in the competition. Long was rented out by Ajax to FC Twente during the winter break of last season.

Lang made the switch from Feyenoord’s youth academy to that of Ajax in 2013.
