Cloudy Intervals and Scattered Storms Expected in Valencian Community

VALENCIA (EFE). The Valencian Community This Sunday will register cloudy intervals and scattered storms, locally strong in Valencia and Castellón in the afternoontemperatures will not vary or will experience a rise and the wind will be variable and light, with intervals from the south and southeast light to moderate during the afternoon.

Cloudy intervals with scattered showers are expected on Monday occasionally with a storm in the northern half in the early hours and not ruled out in the southern half, subsiding during the morning and tending to slightly cloudy.

Temperatures will drop, except on the coast where they will remain unchanged, and the wind will be weak from the west and northwest, with some moderate intervals on the coast, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

The extreme temperatures recorded in the last twenty-four hours in the provincial capitals have been the following:

– Castelló 20.8 and 27.3 degrees

– Valencia 22 and 26.9 degrees

– Alicante 22.6 and 28.2 degrees

On the coast of Valencia, wind from the E and SE 2 to 3 rolling in the early morning to component N 2 to 4 and in the afternoon to SE 3 to 5. Occasional swell. Occasional rain and some storm in the afternoon. Fair to good visibility.

In Alicante, wind from component E 2 to 3 shifting during the night to component N 2 to 4 and S 3 to 5 in the afternoon. Swell increasing to swell. Occasional rain and some dry storms starting in the afternoon. Fair to good visibility.
